If I Lose This, I Lose Everything.

If I Lose This, I Lose Everything.

I always find myself spending at least 13 minutes thinking about how to start my newsletter, and then I just end up saying, "hi." So, let's not make it longer this time.

Hi!

In today's newsletter, let's talk about the most important thing for any creator, and no, it's not fangirls (though they can be awesome too :3 ).

It's the community!

Growing a community is the easiest thing in life.

Just kidding. Growing a community is actually the hardest thing in life...

Just kidding too.

However, building a community is a lot like growing a baby.

When you're growing a baby, you have to feed them, teach them, show them life, give them affection and love, accept their mistakes, spend money and mental energy on them, and clean their shit without expecting anything in return.

Yet, after a while, this tiny human will grow up and be there for you whenever you need them.

It's like creating a relationship, a family.

Now, let's relate this to growing a community.

You give all your passion and energy to it, without wanting anything back.

But you know that when you need support, your community will be there for you without expecting anything in return either.

It's a beautiful thing.

So, you're reading this, and you are my baby... (call me daddy!)

In my case, I didn't even realize I was building a community. I was just making content on the internet, receiving feedback, and consistently trying to improve, and then I started noticing the same names, growing even more, and seeing new faces that have stuck around.

Lately, I've been working on building an AI tool (as I spammed you with this information in my newsletter and Instagram stories).

The thing is, I know nothing about coding! I just have the idea. So, I reached out to my engineer cousin. She helped us build and write the code from scratch.

My cousin did the hard work and invented this amazing software.

Now, she's busy with her own commitments, and we didn't want to keep the software to ourselves. We want to package it, give it life, and launch it on the internet.

But, as I mentioned earlier, I have no idea what to do or how to code. We paused for a while, and during that time, we noticed some competitors trying to create similar tools.

You know the AI space is all about speed (we can discuss that in upcoming newsletters).

I was very close to making a big mistake and quitting, but...

I turned to ChatGPT for guidance, and it suggested that I hire a full-stack developer.

So, I posted a job offer and checked out some Discord groups.

I received some fascinating offers!

The cheapest one came with a price tag of $3,000 for the project…

I truly appreciate the hours developers spend learning and the time they would invest in making this tool a reality.

But the reality is…I don't have that kind of money at the moment, especially since I've already invested $2,000 in the initial steps of building the tool.

$2008 to be more specific... (I bought a Twitter badge to look cool)

So basically, at this point, I have nothing but a desktop AI software that I can only use, the idea to finish this project, a very strong community…

and a verified Twitter account.

And this is where the exciting part begins.

I simply posted a story on my Instagram, and within 30 minutes, I received over 15 messages from specialists who were interested in helping me out.

Just a simple Instagram story!

It's all thanks to the awesome community we've built together.

Currently, we are working with two of the best developers, Rayen and Glitch (big shout out to them).

I'm truly grateful for each and every one of you who has been a part of this journey.

Stay tuned for the updates and don’t forget to move this email to your inbox.

Let's get back to work.
